Questions about LAURx
In terms of the difference between 4X and LAURx, substantially improved taste and reduction of alcohol to less than 0.1% are the key differences.
LAURx contains >99% of Oleander 4X (decoction) made according to the HPUS. It is an improved second-generation product based upon the original Oleander 4X (incubation) product. The alcohol and water have been essentially removed (less than 0.1% of each) and replaced with the natural product glycerol, which serves as a mild sweetener, flavoring agent, and preservative.
LAURx contains highly diluted Nerium oleander extract (NOE), which contains oleandrin. Research has established that NOE and oleandrin provide immune support.*
For more on the research being done on NOE and oleandrin regarding immune support, please refer to the following article:https://www.mdpi.com/2344840
No. LAURx is not intended to replace supplements. It is used to help maintain a healthy immune system and can be taken with other supplements used to support the immune system.
Sublingual (under the tongue) administration allows the LAURx extract to enter the body quickly and efficiently. For this product, the suggested dose is 1.0 mL (full dropper), held under the tongue for one minute or more, four times per day (every 4-6 hours) not to exceed 4.0 ml in 24 hours. Each 30 ml bottle contains approximately 4 daily doses for a recommended total of seven days. After seven days, two doses (approximately 12 hours apart), may be incorporated into a daily regimen for beneficial effects (each bottle is a two-weeks’ supply.
Yes
No allergic reactions have been observed in clinical trials with oleandrin, even when taken at higher doses.
Yes. LAURx can be taken with vitamins.
LAURX is not intended to treat, cure, or prevent any illness. It is intended to support the immune system to help it provide a healthy immune response. You can start taking LAURX at any time. Your immune system is always being challenged, at times to a lesser extent and at times to a greater extent. For example, if you are exposed to a crowd, it may be that your immune system will need more support, or if you are mostly isolated, it may be that your immune system will need less support. LAURx has two different dosing regimens to help meet your needs. LAURx should be taken as indicated on the label and carton.
We recommend you consult a physician before use of this product if under the age of 12 years old.
Is one bottle enough for one person to use for 30 days?
A 30 mL bottle is sufficient for two weeks of twice per day dosing or one week of four-times per day dosing. Twice per day dosing is recommended for maintenance dosing, and four-times per day dosing for 5-7 days is recommended when feeling unwell.
Yes, safety is our number one priority, so all of our products go through rigorous testing for quality, purity and potency at independent, 3rd-party facilities. LAURx is available as an over-the-counter (OTC) homeopathic remedy prepared according to the HPUS monograph. There is a lot of misinformation and disinformation on the Internet. It is true that consuming raw parts of the Nerium oleander bush can be toxic. Plant material should never be consumed. No one should ever try to make their own extract from plant material.LAURx, however, is made by an extraction process according to the Homeopathic Pharmacopeia. The process leaves behind much of the plant material and results in a highly diluted yet very effective immune support product. Thousands of bottles have been sold and consumed without negative incidents. Moreover, we have conducted in vivo safety studies on LAURx and on other extracts containing oleandrin, a key active component of LAURx. No adverse events were observed when taken as directed.
LAURx helps support the immune system. Allergies are the result of the immune system’s response to an allergen. Accordingly, LAURx may help with allergies.
LAURx helps support the immune system. Inflammation is a necessary part of the immune system’s response to an immune challenge. Accordingly, LAURx may help the immune system provide a healthy inflammatory response. This type of inflammation, however, is not related to inflammation of the joints.
What makes this product unique from other immune support products?
Each immune support product operates through its own combination of mechanisms in the body. LAURx focuses on supporting the innate immune system.
LAURx may be taken on a full or empty stomach because it is administered and absorbed sublingually. After taking a dose, we recommend waiting a few minutes before eating or drinking.
Has this been approved by the FDA?
LAURx is not FDA evaluated. LAURx strictly adheres to the standards of the Homeopathic Pharmacopoeia of the United States (HPUS). This product was manufactured in a FDA-registered facility.
Is it effective on an overactive immune system?
Research in this area has not been conducted for the product. So, we cannot recommend its use in people with an overactive immune system.
Can a person with cancer undergoing treatment take LAURx?
Yes. People undergoing chemotherapy are often immunocompromised. LAURx would help support their immune system.
We recommend you consult a physician before use of this product if you are pregnant or a nursing mother.
Can I use this product if I have a history of heart disease, myocardial infarction or ventricular cardiac arrhythmias?
We recommend you consult a physician before use of this product if you have a history of heart disease, myocardial infarction or ventricular cardiac arrhythmias.
Why is the dropper plastic?
While we do not like using plastic in our products, we found that the plastic dropper does much better in shipping. The plastic dropper is etched to show the increments and where one ml would be on the dropper. Why do we use etched droppers? Proposition 65 requires businesses to warn Californians before exposing them to chemicals in the consumer products they buy and use. Basically, all ink droppers would require a warning. We believe that etched droppers are safer for you and for the environment.

Dr. Jagan Sastry is a Professor in the Department of immunology at The University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center, Houston, TX. His group’s research in the broad areas of viral oncology and immunology focuses on understanding the biology, pathology and genetics of two viral diseases impacting human health: HPV-associated cancers and HIV-induced AIDS. The overall goal of the research is to develop procedures and reagents for prediction, treatment as well as prevention. Over the past 25+ years Dr. Sastry has lead and/or participated in investigator initiated as well as team-oriented research programs supported by federal, state, industry, and philanthropy funds. Dr. Sastry’s group has been testing the anti-HIV activity of various proprietary compounds from the oleander plant extract and showed for the first time anti-HIV activity of the Nerium oleander plant extract and demonstrated that this activity is related to the cardiac glycoside oleandrin with a unique mechanism of anti-HIV activity.
Peiying Yang is an Associate Professor at Department of Palliative, Rehabilitation and Integrative Medicine at the University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center.
